The S-Press 22LR to 243 Rim Fire Jacket Maker Set converts fired .22 LR cases into .243 centerfire bullet jackets. This set is compatible with the Corbin S-Press as well as standard reloading presses.

This die screws into the S-Press Ram. It is used with a punch which flares the jacket mouth so it will seal pressure when inserted into a Corbin .243 caliber core seating die (sold separately). The Core Seat Die will produce the pressure necessary to expand the jacket from the .219 size up to .243 as the lead core is seated. The jacket is NOT pushed through the RFJM die, but is only pressed in far enough to unfold and iron the head back into a smooth cylinder. Then the jacket is ejected automatically when the press ram is lowered. The external punch for the RFJM set screws into the top of the press, in the Corbin S-Press Floating Punch Holder (FPH-1-S, sold with the Corbin S-Press) . The normal hex-bushing is unscrewed from the punch holder, and the threaded top or external punch is screwed directly into the punch holder instead. Then the punch holder is used to set the proper position to flare the mouth at the end of the stroke.
